Yes it is I'm Tom Fitzmorris yet passing has a cultured person and every day we talk about food and restaurants and cooking and wine and and everything that seems to fit with any of those things. Restaurants you tried to avoid because you haven't been treated well there. And anything in between also we do recipes. We talk about wine and cocktails. I had a nine usual cocktail yesterday. After the royal street stroll on strolled. My wife and I went over to Brendan for dinner. And we sat down and it was looking over the cocktail list and they were tool cocktails that they used to have over Brennan's. That had kind of slipped off the menu. And there are not many people who are gonna remember the main ingredient for this but they're gonna be some people who will. And will be very pleased to know that this ingredient is now available again. But the drink is called and the of rap paid. A frat pay is pretty close to a snowball like a wet snow ball. The ice ground up pretty pretty good job of probably a lot thicker than. And course there than you would get a snowball really but it's kind of in that direction. And the main flavoring element was and a lick Kerr called owe him OJ. He and I think SO spelled. And it was a a little company in France and I'm excuse me in. He in Spain. That made this. And it was very popular around New Orleans it was another one of those things it was at one time made with absinthe. Now absinthe is legal again but this one had the actual owe him in it. And that's the first time we have seen that lick core. In Alitalia at least ten years because the the the little distillers that was making it. They went out of business they just the only place in the entire world that was still buying owe him. Was here in New Orleans and day and people in New Orleans where jumping up and down yell and hey how come we can't get this anymore but it was truly and really gone for quite a while. Ever responded. To steamed seafood we don't like it and restaurants that have come and gone quite a few of them. You can go there and start off with really among the three of four best crab cakes in the city. They have on an oyster dished it reminds me of oysters Rockefeller but really it's a totally different thing Friday oysters the sauce is different but I'd get it just but every time ago. They're turtle soup is among them very very best in the city and the menu. Entree side of the menu but comes forth with a lot of items that he'd just. Don't see too much anymore one of them is. On trial page that is loaded with just about every other kind of seafood you can think and yet it still emerges as a good track.
